Our Approach
Business automation is an everpresent need and we aim to foster long-standing relationships with clients that are a good fit. While we are generally flexible with regards to our work approach, the first project with a new client generally holds many unknowns and we therefore recommend a conservative approach shown below that sets up all parties for success.
Consultation Call/Visit
This is an introductory step where Komutai and the Client make introductions and together get a broad overview of the problem space, users' technological sophistication level, and available resources.
Outputs:
- •Mutual introductions & vetting
- •Identifying the most promising initial project scope
- •Identifying a ball park range of costs and variables
Project Scoping
In this step, we work shoulder to shoulder with a Client Project Coordinator to finalize scope and details. We aim to upfront the major decisions, paperwork, and technical access, so that the back-and-forth is minimized later and the project momentum remains high.
Outputs:
- •Identification of a project coordinator
- •Work scope agreement
- •System/data access, new accounts, etc.
Functional Demo
To derisk the project, Komutai builds a functional demo for the most sensitive / difficult / high risk parts of the project, for one well-defined use case. Since all projects, especially non-deterministic ones involving AI, involve a number of unknowns, this conservative approach is the best steward for client resources.
Outputs:
- •Project Demo
- •Documentation of methods and learnings
- •Adjustment / refinement of delivery criteria
Project Implementation
Komutai implements the project with reasonable support from Client Project Coordinator for interim decisions and testing environment
Outputs:
- •Implemented project
- •Project documentation
- •Closing out access to credentials
Project Walkthrough (Optional)
Client team is given a live demo of the project.
Outputs:
- •Recorded demo of the project
- •List of ideas for future iterations, other projects, as they come up during the demo
